Ready, set… gingerbread!

It’s nearly our favourite time of year, Gingerbread House Fun is back again!

We’re delighted to return for our 9th year, once again bringing you delicious, locally made gingerbread house kits all created by the amazing Fay Millar at Gingerbread World.

You’ll be helping to raise vital funds for Safe in Sussex. 💜

And remember, you don’t have to enter the competition. You’re very welcome to simply buy a kit, have some festive fun and enjoy your gingerbread creation!

🏠 Meet our 2026 Barn House

This year’s special Barn House Kit is ready and waiting for your imagination!

Measuring approximately 18cm long, 15cm high and 15.5cm wide, and supplied on a 20cm board, each kit contains everything you need to start creating:

• Delicious pre-baked gingerbread house pieces
• A board and instructions
• Two piping bags
• A mini candy cane
• Three small packs of sweet decorations
• And, new for 2026, an edible Safe in Sussex logo for your finished masterpiece!

Then it’s over to you. Go traditional, colourful, elegant, completely crackers or wonderfully Christmassy. We can’t wait to see what you create!

We’re delighted to be keeping our Gingerbread House Kit prices the same for another year:

£30 for the public

£50 for businesses

Kits can be collected from the Safe in Sussex head office by pre-booked appointment.

Postal delivery is also available for an additional fee.

Think your gingerbread house deserves its moment in the spotlight?

When you buy, build and decorate a Safe in Sussex Barn House gingerbread kit, you can enter our 2026 decorating competition for free.

All entries will be judged on:

 ✨ Appearance

Please remember that only Safe in Sussex gingerbread kits can be entered into the competition.

📸 How to enter

Entering couldn’t be easier.

Simply build it, decorate it and show it off!

Email us a photo, photos and/or video of your finished gingerbread creation, together with no more than 50 words telling us what inspired you.
