Individual support
Individual support from our Domestic Abuse Practitioners is available to those women attending our community groups who may need additional help or advice based on their individual circumstances.
Our independent advisers will work alongside you, taking time to listen and understand you and your circumstances and what outcomes you would like from the support.

I feel like I have had a comfort blanket of support around me… I now feel empowered to …. stand up for myself and move forward.

How we support you
We’ll work together with you to help identify ways to increase your safety and reduce risk, discussing these with you so you can make informed choices and decisions about your life, what’s best for you and how you would like to move forward.
This might include supporting you with housing issues, court proceedings, child contact arrangements, implementing safety plans, and signposting to other specialist services e.g., mental health services, debt support, counselling. Please note we do not offer a counselling service.
How to access our Individual Support
This service is only available to current participants in our community group programmes. Domestic Abuse Practitioners regularly attend our groups so you can either talk to them there or ask your group facilitator and they will put you in touch.
