About Us

Safe in Sussex works to eliminate domestic abuse across West Sussex and beyond through the provision of practical and emotional support, information and advice, and by raising awareness of domestic abuse and its prevalence across society.

I am feeling optimistic about my future for the first time ever

Our Mission

  • Recovery groups
  • One-to-one advocacy
  • Training for professionals and community workers
  • Educational programmes on healthy relationships

Our Values

  • Equality – We are a feminist, non-discriminatory and non-judgemental organisation that welcomes and values the diversity of each individual’s lived experiences.
  • Empowerment – Our services users are at the heart of all we do. We support our service users to reach their full potential and engage them in informing and directing our services.
  • Excellence – In all we do and how we do it. This includes collaboration with others for maximum impact, learning and innovating to constantly improve our service delivery and planning.
