Gingerbread House Fun 2025
It’ll soon be time for our 8th annual gingerbread competition and once again we’ve teamed up with Gingerbread World to bring you delicious, locally made gingerbread house kits. Decorate one of our ready-made kits to raise vital funds for Safe in Sussex.
You can buy these high quality, locally made kits for fun at home, or as a present for someone – you don’t have to take part in our competition.

Cottage Kit
£25 – 76% comes directly to Safe in Sussex so we can help people affected by domestic abuse
This original cottage design, when built, measures approx. 10cm x 10cm x 11.5cm high to fit on a 6”/15cm board. This kit includes pre-baked gingerbread house pieces, a board, instructions, 2x piping bags and 2x small packs of sweet decorations to get you started.

Traditional House Kit
£30 – 67% comes directly to Safe in Sussex so we can help people affected by domestic abuse.
This house measures approx. 14cm at the base and is 19cm high and 14cm deep, fitting on an 8”/20cm board. The kit includes the pre-baked gingerbread house pieces, a board, instructions, 3x piping bags, a mini candy cane & 3x small packs of sweet decorations to get you started.

Gingerbread House Kit for Businesses
£50 – 80% comes directly to Safe in Sussex so we can help people affected by domestic abuse.
This is the Traditional House Kit (measuring approx. 14cm at the base and is 19cm high and 14cm deep, fitting on an 8”/20cm board), but include an additional £20 donation to Safe in Sussex and free entry into our business competition

Gingerbread House Decorating Competition
Buy, build and decorate one of the Safe in Sussex locally made gingerbread kits and there is free entry into our Competition (only Safe in Sussex kits can be entered).
All categories will be judged on imagination, inspiration, and appearance.
How do I enter the competition
All you need to do this year is buy your Safe in Sussex gingerbread kit, make your house, decorate it and then email a photo(s) or video & no more than 50 words on what inspired you to us at fundraising@safeinsussex.org.uk Please title your email ‘Gingerbread House Fun 2025’.
Sussex businesses – in return for your valued support there is a special trophy for the best business entry to the Traditional Gingerbread House decorating competition… Will your company name be added to the roll of honour!
Closing Date: All competition entries must be received by 11.59pm on Monday 8th December 2025 – so make sure you place your order in good time.
Winners Announcement: The winners will be announced on Safe in Sussex’s Facebook page at 12 noon on Friday 12th December 2025.
