When: Traditionally on the last Friday of June. As it happens that’s also National Cream Tea Day so the perfect excuse to host a tea party at the same time! But if that doesn’t work for you that’s no problem -pick any day in June and go to town with choosing the funkiest outfit you can find!
Where: wherever you like – it’s up to you

Our annual Shocking Shirts & Funky Frocks event is historically held on the last Friday of June. As it happens that’s also National Cream Tea day so the perfect excuse to host a tea party at the same time!
If 27th June doesn’t work for you that’s no problem! Pick any day in June and go to town with choosing the funkiest outfit you can find!
Anyone can take part and it doesn’t matter how you choose to do it.
- Make it a competition between colleagues or friends
- Have a non-uniform day at your school or workplace
- Dress up for your exercise class or training session
- Have a bake sale
- Run a design competition
… the possibilities are endless!
All we ask is that you make a donation to Safe in Sussex to help support the work we do and make sure we can keep doing it.

We’ve made some colouring sheets so you can still take part even by designing your own shirt or frock. Click the image or images you want to use, right click on the image and choose ‘save picture as’ to download, print, and get designing!
If you email your finished design to fundraising@safeinsussex.org.uk we’d love to see them and feature them on our social media accounts during June.
