You can really make a difference this year by helping families in our refuges create wonderful Christmas memories.
Christmas is a time when many of us think about how we can help others and we are so grateful to everyone who wants to support the women and children in our domestic abuse refuges over the festive season.
But Christmas is not just about gifts, welcome though these donations are, where you can really make a difference by helping families in our refuges create wonderful Christmas memories. Perhaps it’s a kit for families to make Christmas decorations together, or vouchers for the cinema, the panto, ice skating or a pottery café – or perhaps it’s all the trimmings for a cosy movie night with popcorn, hot chocolate and marshmallows.
If you are a company or community organisation who wants to raise funds/buy gifts for those in our refuges or community groups then please contact us at fundraising@safeinsussex.org.uk and we can let you know how best you can help.
All donations need to be with us by midday on Friday 28th November so they can be sorted and distributed.
We also have a specific Christmas Amazon wishlist, which we keep updated in the run up to Christmas. All items purchased are delivered to our Head Office in Ferring for distribution to our refuges.

• We’re not able to accept donations of second hand items for Christmas, however good the condition.
• Please do not gift wrap any donations (items in gift bags are fine).

• Any items that contain alcohol
• Candles
• Personal notes or letters
