Chennai to Goa Indian Car Rally

Another epic Indian adventure organised by our Patron, Helen Hitchcock.

Not only does Helen run the gorgeous shop, Sakala in Steyning, she gives a great deal of her time and her heart to support and fundraise for us, and Maher Ashram in India.

Two years ago it was rickshaws, and this year it was a car rally, with 18 people across 7 teams travelling 1667 miles from Chennai to Goa.

So far the total raised is over £16,000, which will be split 50/50 between Safe in Sussex and Maher Ashram. There’s more still to come and a celebratory Bollywood evening planned for April which will all add to that total.
