Volunteer
We could not do all that we do without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers. As well as making a donation, there are many ways you can support us.
The charity was so supportive of my friend, I just wanted to help make sure they would be there for others who needed them.
Volunteering Opportunities
Our principal volunteering opportunities are for our Safe in Sussex Ambassadors who help raise funds and spread the word about the prevalence and impact of domestic abuse and the vital work we do.
We do not currently have volunteering opportunities within our refuges or community support services given the need for specialist training and supervision.
There is no minimum time commitment – all we ask is that is you are committed to supporting the aims and principles of our charity and are happy to sign up for an on-site induction session and our code of conduct. Our Volunteering Handbook has more information.
